At Norman Park Kindy we believe childhood should be rich with play, relationships, nature, challegenge and discovery.
As a not-for-profit, community-managed kindergarten, we provice a child-led, play-based program where children are known, trusted as capable learners and supported to develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging.

Why Norman Park Kindy?
One unit. Two groups. One community.
Only one group of twenty-five children attends at a time, creating a calm, connected environment where children, families and educators can genuinely know one another.
Our curriculum grows from children's ideas, interests, questions and relationships, supported by thoughtful and intentional educators.
Our extensive natural grounds, open indoor-outdoor program and regular Bush Excursions give children time and space to investigate, move, create, take appropriate risks and connect with nature.
Norman Park Kindy has been shaped by families since 1962. Family participation remains an important part of our community today.

​We welcome visitors to our annual Open Day in May; invitations are sent to waitlisted families. We cannot accommodate visitors at other times due our child safety policies and priority on focusing on children.

Please note the kindy office is only staffed part time so it may take a couple of days for us to get back to you. Feel free to leave a telephone message, however the best way to receive a response is to send us an email with your contact details.
