At Norman Park Community Kindergarten, our philosophy is more than a statement—it guides the way we think, the decisions we make and the experiences we create for children every day.

During their time at Norman Park Kindy, we strive to nurture a strong sense of belonging, confidence, curiosity, respect and wellbeing as children continue their lifelong learning journey.

We believe children learn best through play, meaningful relationships, appropriate challenge and authentic opportunities to participate in their own learning.

We trust children as capable and competent learners and value the unique strengths, interests and perspectives they bring to our community.

Our philosophy comes to life through everyday interactions, thoughtful teaching, strong partnerships with families and a commitment to creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to learn.
